Stone Age rock carvings, painted.

Gärde rock carvings lie by the rapids. The first field is on the southern shore. There are two fine elks with footsteps of an elk and a hunter. The other group is located on an island in the middle of the rapids. The figures – three elks and a fragment of a fish (?) – are larger in the island. 

The carvings are dated to Stone Age. The large ones older than the smaller ones.

Gärden kalliopiirrokset sijoittuvat kosken partaalle. Ensimmäinen ryhmä on rantakalliossa. Hirvien lisäksi kallioon on piirretty hirven ja metsästäjän jälkiä. Toinen ryhmä löytyy joen keskellä olevan kalliosaaresta. Kuvat – kolme hirveä ja katkelma kalasta (?) – ovat siellä suurempia. 

Piirrokset on ajoitettu kivikautisiksi. Suuremmat vanhemmiksi kuin pienemmät.
