Prehistoric cave painting.

Kollhellaren is a cave at the tip of the Lofoten Islands. The location is remote and difficult to access. Wide at its mouth (50 metres high), the cave branches to the left and right further inside. There are paintings in all three branches, but access is only permitted to the panel in the branch heading to the left. The painting is located around the corner in darkness. It features human figures.

The cave paintings of Kollhellaren have been photographed and the images published with the permission of the Nordland County Council.

Kollhellaren on luola Lofoottien kärjessä. Paikka on syrjässä ja vaikeapääsyinen. Suultaan avara (50 metriä korkea) luola haarautuu syvemmällä vasemmalle ja oikealle. Maalauksia on kaikissa kolmessa haarassa, mutta pääsy on sallittu vain vasemmalle suuntaavan haaran kuvakentälle. Nurkan takana pimeässä sijaitseva maalaus sisältää ihmishahmoja.
